Sales Associate, Boston – Intermix

Sales Associates areresponsible for hitting and maintaining their personal sales goals whilecontributing to store success. Role requires associates to convert newcustomers while building a loyal client base. Sales Associates are responsiblefor courteous and professional interactions with colleagues and customers.


Selling & Client Service

  • Greet and acknowledge all customers.
  • Provide courteous and knowledgeable customer service in every area of the store.
  • Meet or exceed 3% selling goal average for each fiscal month.
  • Maintain an accurate, efficient and effective client book.

Visual Merchandising

  • Assist with the execution of floor sets.
  • Monitor and maintain visual merchandising standards on a daily basis according to the Visual Standards Manual.
  • Ensure representation of all merchandise (styles & sizes) are on the floor.
  • Fold, straighten, fill-in and ensure correct placement of merchandise throughout the day.


  • Participate in keeping the selling floor to operational and visual standards – both during the day and at the end of the day.
  • Notify management of maintenance issues.
  • Adhere to loss prevention guidelines and deter shoplifting by providing excellent customer service.
  • Follow all procedures in the POS system for ringing up sales.
  • Remove unwanted merchandise from fitting rooms.
  • Fold, straighten, fill-in and ensure correct placement of merchandise throughout the day.
