Office Coordinator – Part-time


Instacart (YC S12) is building the best way for people everywhere in the world to shop for groceries.

This will be a part time role (hours will be 10a.m.-3p.m.)What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the front desk and reception area – Greet office visitors including guests, shoppers, vendors
  • Oversee day-to-day office logistics – food vendors (we do lunch and dinner daily); facilities, security, janitorial services; track and distribute mail
  • Maintain and organize office space including storage areas, kitchen, common areas, and conference rooms
  • Order office snacks (we use Instacart!) and ensure we keep a fully stocked kitchen
  • Respond to support issues both in-person and over email promptly
  • Assist Office Manager with day-to-day and special projects

What You Should Already Have

  • A. or B.S. (recent graduates encouraged to apply!)
  • 1 – 3 years of office administration, support, or customer service experience (internships included)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to interact professionally, effectively, and in a friendly manner with guests and partners both internally and externally
  • Superior organizational skills and follow-through on tasks
  • High level of ownership and problem-solving skills
  • An interest in and passion for Instacart!
