Digital QA and UAT Analyst

The Theory Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing Analyst is a key contributor in the testing of daily customer experience, daily email marketing campaigns, weekly creative refreshes, omnichannel promotions/coupons, A/B test execution, special projects and functionality releases across mobile, desktop, tablet, digital in-store and emerging technologies. Ideal candidate must be open to a flexible work schedule.


  • Execution of functional testing of marketing, creative and promotional digital content across all key browsers, operating systems and/or devices
  • Execution of testing cycles and test case development for site refreshes and releases
  • Log, manage and retest defects in bug tracking system (i.e., JIRA)
  • Understand feature specifications and create test suites for all product components focusing on customer-facing UI of digital experience
  • Analyze current system requirements and use cases to develop black box test plans
  • Work with developers to provide additional research and debugging of issues when more information is needed to resolve problems
  • Ensure the proper readiness of test environments and procurement of test data
  • Support early morning/off-hours launch efforts of site features with business teams
  • Conduct Daily Site Verification at 5:30AM ET



  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

Required Knowledge:

  • Experience testing multi-tier eCommerce software products written in Java
  • Experience with developing and executing test cases

Experience Required:

  • 1 to 3 years of professional Internet work experience in Quality Assurance Analyst/Engineer/Tester position
  • Familiarity with DemandWare and/or similar eCommerce platform administration dashboard

Skill and Ability:                                                          

  • Strong understanding of QA Methodologies (e.g., Agile)
  • Strong attention to detail, regarding web design and usability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be open to a flexible work schedule
  • Self-starting, self-motivated, independent and proactive
  • Ability to operate effectively both independently as well and within a team
  • Solid working knowledge of web applications and client-server technology
